# NEURYN Robotics

> NEURYN Robotics is a robotics startup from Madrid, Spain, that builds robots to process e-commerce returns. Its robot cell opens each return box, picks every item, inspects it with AI and decides where it goes (restock, outlet, refurbish or human review), writing a report with a photo for every item. It is offered as Robot as a Service: one monthly fee per robot, no upfront investment.

- Name: NEURYN Robotics (also written Neuryn Robotics). It is not NEURA Robotics (Germany) and not Neuron Robotics: they are different companies.
- Location: Madrid, Spain.
- Founders: Jaime Velasco (CEO), Jesús Merino (CTO) and Jorge Pascual (COO). Jesús and Jorge are industrial engineers from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M); Jaime was co-founder and CEO of GoSupply.
- What it handles: footwear, clothing, electronics and accessories, rigid or soft, new, used or damaged, at the same station.
- How it decides: it checks size, authenticity, signs of use and completeness, compares them with the customer's return reason and sorts by the warehouse's own protocol. Anything unclear goes to a person.
- Speed: about 30 seconds per item for the full cycle, measured in simulation.
- Pilots: in the customer's own warehouse, with their own returns.
- Business model: Robot as a Service (RaaS). Monthly fee per robot; robot, gripper and AI, installation, maintenance, support and upgrades included. The price is quoted after seeing the warehouse. Data stays on-premise.
- Award: Pro Impulsa Emprendimiento 2026, one of seven projects awarded by the Social Council of UC3M (resolution of 11 June 2026).
